A Love Letter from Jodi

On this Valentine’s weekend, I want to share a gift from Jodi.  This gift of love was given to me – Christmas, 2004.  It’s a treasure for many reasons because there is only Love.

And in this last month of Jodi’s life, we refused to take anyone or anything for granted.  We redesigned our plans, crawled into bed together, laughed, hugged and even cried.  Because there was only LOVE . . . and that is the life Jodi lived.

Love is patient, Love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong.  Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails.
